What Causes Bowed Walls?
The walls of your basement are holding up tons of dirt. When this dirt gets wet, water gets trapped in the soil and ultimately presses up against your foundation walls. This is know as hydrostatic pressure. When this pressure becomes more than the walls can handle, they may crack bow. Ark Foundation Repair provides different solutions to bowed walls to help combat this problem. We will use wall anchors to hold the walls in place and eventually pull them back out to their original location. Over time, you will not notice any more bowing of the walls. The wall anchors are designed to last a lifetime so you will not have to worry about the walls bowing back in again.
We offer bowed wall repair services in the following locations: Ann Arbor, Lansing, Battle Creek, Jackson, St. Johns, Coldwater, Adrian, Monroe, Brighton, Portland, Charlotte, Mason, Marshall, Clarklake, Dundee, Milan, Whitmore Lake, Howell, and in many other towns in South Eastern Michigan.
